Nursing (Nursing Administration)
The Master of Science degree in nursing offered through the School of Nursing at Loma Linda University is designed to engage students in scientific inquiry and to apply their discoveries in a variety of clinical, teaching, and administrative settings. The Nursing Administration major prepares nurses for leadership in a variety of organizational settings. The curriculum draws from the practice of nursing, management and related fields, and includes administrative, research and clinical components. It provides for learning in an environment that fosters autonomy, flexibility
and creative scholarship. An intensive practicum provides the opportunity to develop and test skills in real-life settings with emphasis on critical thinking. Students may be admitted any term during the year, part-time study is available, and courses are offered to accommodate working nurses.
