Psychiatric Technician
Yuba College offers a Psychiatric Technology program at the Marysville Campus. Classes start in the Fall semester, and the program consists of four full semester and one summer session. The program includes clinical experience, under the direct supervision of a clinical instructor, in agencies that provide services to the developmentally, mentally, and physically disabled. The program provides the student with the necessary training to provide nursing and therapeutic services for the mentally ill, emotionally disturbed or developmentally disabled, under the direction of a physician, psychiatrist, or registered nurse.
