Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine
Our mission statement includes the expectation that we will prepare you to be a brilliant practitioner of Oriental medicine. We seek students who are self-aware and willing to honestly assess their inner lives and to extend this into their healing relationships with future patients. You are entering an education and a profession that demands the highest level of integrity. Patients will place an extraordinary amount of faith in your ability to help them. You must be willing to uphold their trust by your honesty, clarity, knowledge and skill. We promise to support your education with similar honesty. As Oriental medicine becomes increasingly popular and accepted, it is crucial for graduates to acquire the skills needed to practice in an integrated healthcare setting and to communicate with professionals in the field of biomedicine. Through our partnerships with UCLA Arthur Ashe Student Health and Wellness Center, Cri Help Clinic, Venice Family Clinic and the LA Free Clinic, you have unparalleled access into integrated medical settings and diverse patient populations.
