Physical Therapist Aide

Salary range:

$22,214 – $31,949

Job description:

Physical therapist aides perform preparations for patient therapy visits and clerical tasks. They are responsible for keeping the treatment area clean and organized, and provide assistance to patients who need help moving to or from a treatment area. Aides may also order supplies, answer the telephone or fill out insurance forms and other paperwork.

Work environment:

Physical therapist aides work in hospitals, clinics, nursing care facilities or private offices.

Training requirements:

Physical therapist aides are required to have a high school diploma or equivalent and receive on-the-job training.
