Dietetic Technician
Salary range:
$25,022 – $38,189
Job description:
Dietetic technicians help dieticians provide food service and nutritional programs. Under the supervision of dieticians, they may plan and produce meals based on established guidelines, teach principles of food and nutrition, or counsel patients.
Work environment:
Dietetic technicians can work in nursing homes, hospitals, clinics, correctional facilities, schools or health clubs.
Training requirements:
Dietetic technicians are required to earn an associate's degree. Some employers may require certification as a Registered Dietician.
